About Us
Hi! I'm Katy, owner of Balanced Bookkeeping, and I love helping small business owners manage their money.
For almost 12 years, I have worked closely with small business owners to help them understand their numbers. Most of the 12 years was spent preparing clients’ books while following it all the way through to their tax return. While I enjoyed tax preparation and everything that goes with it, I decided to start my own bookkeeping firm to allow a more flexible schedule for my young family.
I started Balanced Bookkeeping and Payroll back in February of 2021. I love owning my own business and taking care of my clients.

2 bachelor's degrees from Marian University (Accounting & Finance)
9 years of public accounting experience
2.5 years of owning my own accounting/bookkeeping firm
